About
Impacting People, Changing Lives
I am a humanist, believing that everyone has the potential to grow, learn, and change. At their core, I believe that all people are good. I received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Elizabeth City State University in 2014, and a Master of Social Work degree in 2017 from Norfolk State University. I am currently pursuing my PhD in Social Work. I have worked with all age groups in various settings addressing various diagnoses to include depression, anxiety, conduct, adjustment, phase of life and more. My primary theoretical approach is cognitive behavioral. I have worked both in direct care and in management roles. I am also a United States Navy Veteran and understand challenges endemic to this special population. My personal hobbies are reading, singing, and traveling. What you can expect when working with me is unconditional support and authenticity.
